USA MADE TITANIUM STEP DRILL BIT 3/16″-7/8″ (12 STEPS)

Benchmark Abrasives USA Made Titanium Step Drill Bit 3/16″-7/8″ (12 Steps) are ideal for making burr-free holes in aluminum, wood, copper, plastic, sheet metal and carbon fiber. The Titanium Nitride coated Step Drill Bits are suitable for heavy duty professional work and feature a two-flute design that provides longer life and better chip removal and a self-centering split point to prevent wobbling. These drill bits are optimized for impact driver usage.

Step Drill Bits are the best bits that are used to drill a metal up to 1/4 of an inch thick. These step drill bits are designed to drill and ream holes through thin materials, such as sheet metal, to a specific diameter. The step drill bit can create holes in a range of sizes without requiring the user to swap out bits in the tool. It enlarges a hole as the bit drill through the sheet metal. Titanium Step Drill Bits increases the cutting speed with self-centering and prevents walking. It allows you to drill multiple-sized holes with one bit. Each step on these bits is larger in diameter.

  • For best results bring the step bit to the workpiece keeping a 90 degree angle between the cutting surface and the cutting head. Using the tool at steeper angles (for example 45 degrees), could apply excess pressure on the head and snap the shank.
