What makes reflective glass different from standard terrazzo glass?
Reflective glass has a one-sided mirror coating that creates a metallic shimmer and amplifies light and flame. Standard terrazzo glass is transparent or opaque; reflective glass bounces light in multiple directions for a more dramatic effect.
Is reflective glass safe for fireplaces and fire pits?
Yesit is tempered and safe for use with gas and propane burners. It will not melt, burn, or produce toxic fumes under normal fire feature use. Not suitable for wood-burning applications.
How much do I need?
For countertop seeding, plan on approximately 1.25 lbs per square foot for 7080% coverage. For fire features at 1 inch depth, plan on 7 lbs per square foot. A standard 2 ft2 ft fireplace typically requires around 2530 lbs.
