The Eolis 3D WireFree RTS sensor detects horizontal, vertical, and lateral awning movement using Somfy’s patented 3D sensing technology — going beyond standard wind sensors that only detect one axis of motion. When the preset wind threshold is exceeded, it automatically retracts the motorized awning, screen, or shutter. Battery-powered and wireless for installation flexibility. Validated in wind tunnel and laboratory testing.
