Designed to fit applications that are smaller in size, this light strap hinge has a safe working load of up to 18 lbs. It is constructed from hot rolled steel, then coated with a WeatherGuard™ sealant that helps prevent corrosion when exposed to rain, snow, sun and salt sprays. With a tight pin near the back, this allows the steel strap hinge to be equipped for right or left handed uses. There are drill holes located in offset places to add extra support when attached to the gate or door,and also helps prevent the wooden objects from splitting.
