OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
Featuring composite, multi-purpose construction, Gates® Hi-Power II® B126 Belt resists oil, heat, ozone, sunlight, weather, and aging. Gates® has engineered the EPDM belt material to combat self-igniting, meaning your belt won’t catch fire from heat buildup even with severe slippage.

- Flex-Bonded Cords are strongly bound to the body of the belt, resulting in equal load distribution and absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration.
- Gates® Curves provide proper cord support and full contact with the sheave-groove for uniform loading, uniform wear, and increased belt life.

The proprietary, woven Flex-Weave® fabric increases the angle facing the direction of pull, developing even less stress for a given amount of bending.

EXPLAINING THE PART NUMBER
B -The B stands for a “B” section v-belt. This is considered a “Classic” v-belt style that has a top width of 21/32 (0.656) (5/8 (.0625)) inches and a thickness of 13/32 (0.406) inches.
126 -The “126 stands for the inside circumference of the belt. For B-class of V-Belts, the outside circumference is found by adding 3 to the inside circumference of the belt. For the B126 Hi-Power II Single V-Belt, the O.C. is 129 inches.
