Wedge Block – 3/4″ System
The wedge block is a mechanical fixturing accessory designed for modular welding and fabrication tables. It specifically utilizes a wedge mechanism to apply lateral (side-to-side) clamping force against a workpiece.
By inserting the adapter into a standard 3/4″ tooling hole on a fixture table, the user can adjust the wedge block to firmly push, align, or secure metal components into a rigid position prior to tacking or welding.
- Clamping Axis: 3-Axis Clamping
- Precision Surfaces: 4 precision-machined faces on both the inner and outer sides
- Material: Ductile Cast Iron
- Feet Design: 1″ wide with magnets, balanced to resist tipping
- Max Height (Outside Face): 4″ for the Standard Size, and 7″ for the Heavy Duty / XL version
- Welding Table Compatibility: Tapped holes in feet for pin alignment on 2″ grid tables
- Fence System Compatibility: Works with the Fireball Fence Block System
