[Discontinued] SainSmart UNO R3 Improved Version+12864 LCD+Sensor Shield V5 Kit For Arduino

SainSmart UNO R3:

This is the new Arduino Uno R3. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the Uno now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the ATMega8U2 chip.This allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. No driversneeded for Linux or Mac (inf file for Windows is needed and included inthe Arduino IDE), and the ability to have the Uno show up as a keyboard,mouse, joystick, etc.

More 3.3V modules supported, such as Xbee module, Bluetooth module,RF module, GPRS module, GPS module, LCD5110 Backlight and so on, but theoriginal version can only support 5V IO.

Controller uses SMD MEGA328P-AU chip.

Add A6/A7 port.

SainSmart R3 can directly use the electronic building blocks on I / O port and elicit G, V, S.

TheUno R3 also adds SDA and SCL pins next to the AREF. In addition, thereare two new pins placed near the RESET pin. One is the IOREF that allowthe shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board. The otheris a not connected and is reserved for future purposes. The Uno R3 workswith all existing shields but can adapt to new shields which use theseadditional pins.

Arduino is an open-source physical computingplatform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment thatimplements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used todevelop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to softwareon your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDEcan be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux).

Each functional module has buckled port with VCC, GND and Output, which has corresponding port on the Sensor Shield, connected with a plain 2.54mm dual-female cable you may start playing already. Buckled brick cables are like cement for bricks, make the connections easier, secure and more professional looking.
