This option converts an otherwise opencenter valve to closed center operation.The open center core is blocked by theconversion plug. Oil cannot pass through thevalve when the spools are in neutral. Closedcenter systems are normally associated withvariable displacement pumps or any othersystem where the pump flow is unloadedwhen system pressure is reached
