6″ HALF-ROUND FILE (BASTARD CUT)
Benchmark Abrasives 6″ Half-Round File (Bastard Cut) has a half-round shape with one round side and one flat side for use on curved and flat surfaces. These metal files are ideal for sharpening mills and circular saws. The bastard cut is a term used to describe the coarseness of the file. It is used with heavier pressure than the single-cut and removes material faster from the workpiece.
Bastard cut files have coarse teeth for rapid material removal.
